e-Science collaborates in development projects in order to create the technology that researchers will need in the future. For the short term e-Science works with current scientists to refine the service provided to meet their needs. For the medium term e-Science collaborates with provider companies and scientific research teams to develop new services. For the long term, e-Science works with computer scientists and ICT developer companies to progress ICT innovations in the advanced computing environment required by scientific researchers.
